Leakey - Alan R. Stewart, 61, of Victoria, formerly of Leakey and Odessa, a police officer, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at Leakey Floral cemetery. Memorial service will be at United Methodist Church of Leakey. Arrangements are by Meadowland Crematory and American Mortuary.
He was born in Sidney, Nebraska.
Survivors Wife, Karen of Victoria; sons, Ryan Stewart and Clint Stewart, both of Dallas; daughter, Jeanine Stewart of Houston; brother, Ken Rogers of Bandera; sister, Iris Wells of Loveland, Colo; and two grandchildren.

Grace Ann Urias
Fort Stockton - Grace Ann Urias, 53, of Fort Stockton, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in Fort Stockton.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with Bishop Jose Vasquez officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
She was born in Carlsbad, N.M. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS Son, Richard L Urias; daughter, Monika U. Castellano; brother, Ricardo G. Davis; sisters, Yolanda D. Ontiveros of Victoria and Gloria J. Davis of Fort Stockton; and three grandchildren.

Ima Crozier Wilkinson
Sanderson - Ima Crozier Wilkinson, 104, of Sanderson, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in Houston.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with Lewis Allen officiating. Burial will be at Sanderson cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
She was born in Waelder.
SURVIVORS Five grandchildren.

Ernest Freeman
Odessa - Ernest Freeman, 82, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in Odessa.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Virginia Banner
Odessa - Virginia Banner, 92, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Bushart officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Augusta, Kan. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors Sons, Nick Banner of Midland and Ted Banner of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Donna Jean Brown
Imperial - Donna Jean Brown, 50, of Odessa, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Duckett officiating. Burial will be at Imperial cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
She was born in Fort Stockton.
Survivors Father, William Ray Brown; mother, Glenda Beth Akins of Odessa; brothers, Todd Ray Akins of Midland, Bobby Ray Brown of Odessa and Todd Brown of Odessa; and sisters, Debbie Gaddis of Sachse and Terry McIntyre of Valentine.

Marc Reo Florence
Odessa - Marc Reo Florence, 53, of Odessa, an operator for Duoline Technologies, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at his residence.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Charles City, Iowa.
Survivors Mother, Ardith Davis of Coralville, Iowa; and two sisters.

Odessa - Nora Sue Moore, 72, of Plano, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, in Plano.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard- Kelly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Allen.
Survivors Sons, Darrell Moore of Odessa and Robert Moore of Flower Mound; daughters, Sandi Moore of Plano and Kari Pfeifer of Frisco; and seven grandchildren.

Harvey Dale Stout Sr.
Odessa - Harvey Dale Stout Sr., 71, of Odessa, a driller, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Hospice House.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Sanderson.
Survivors Wife, Genievie Stout of Gillette, Wyo.; sons, Harvey Dale Stout Jr. and Jeffrey Stout, both of Monahans, Gary Stout and Michael Stout, both of Great Falls, Mont., Allan Sander of Gillette and Dennis Sander and David Sander, both of Rock Springs, Wyo.; daughters, Connie Davis of Amarillo, Stacie Fine of Monahans, Marva Mooney of Gillette and Sheryle Moser of Loveland, Colo.; and 14 grandchildren.

Odessa - Nola Kay Watson Watters, 67, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Buena Vida Nursing Facility.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

Reymundo Montanez Canales
Lubbock - Services for Reymundo Montanez Canales, 62, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in the W.W. Rix Chapel with Pastor Robert Renteria officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors. Mr. Canales died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007.
He was born March 18, 1944, in Midland to Simon and Manuela (Montanez) Canales. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving as a paratrooper. After his discharge from the Army, Reymundo moved to San Antonio. While in San Antonio he was the Texas Representative for the Low Rider magazine and was responsible for getting the magazine distributed in east and central Texas. He had worked for Armstrong Mechanical for over 10 years as a warehouse supervisor, very dedicated to his boss and friend Chris Carpenter.
Survivors include 3 sons, Reymundo, Raymond and David Canales; 2 daughters, Linda Graham and husband Scott and Nicole Canales; 4 grandchildren, Dustin and Angelica Graham and Jamie and Chelsea Cuellar-Canales; his mother, Manuela Hernandez; 4 brothers, Isidrio and Arthuro Barraza and Nick and David Hernandez and many nieces and nephews.
His father and brother, Alberto Hernandez preceded him in death.

Billy Gaylon Heard
Midland - Billy Gaylon Heard, age 69, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007, in Odessa.
He was born May 27, 1937, to Lee Nichols Heard and Lemual Earline McElroy Heard in Odessa, Texas. Billy had worked for 13 years with El Paso Natural Gas, and had also sold mobile homes and automobiles
An ordained minister evangelist with Anchor Bay Ministries, Billy touched many lives ministering to anyone he came in contact with. He was a member of In Search of Truth Ministries in Odessa. Billy loved God above all else. He also owned and made “Cowboy Bob’s Beef Jerky.” He had served on the board of the Permian Basin Fair, and was also a member of the Bird Club and Odessa Kennel Club. Billy loved his wife and family and will be greatly missed.
Billy is survived by his wife, Audrey Gayle Heard of Odessa, TX; brother, Roy Lee Heard and wife, Carol of Dallas, TX; sons, Michael Gaylon Heard, Eric Lee Heard, Ty William Wenken and wife, Tommie Lynn, all of Odessa, TX; daughters, Julia Sizemore and husband, Charlie, of Keller, TX, and Shara Donna Shaw of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Heard and Hailey Nicole Heard, both of Pearidge, AR, Michael Kaleb Heard of Odessa, TX, Lindsay Leeann Sizemore and Kristen Rae Sizemore, both of Keller, TX, Shianne D’nae Flores and Samanthia Gayle Shaw, both of Odessa, TX; aunt, Frances Joyce Turner of Abilene, TX; two nephews and two nieces.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Fairview cemetery in Midland. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas 79701 (432) 683-5555. To place online condolences visit www.mem.com.

Alfred Hernandez
Odessa - Alfred Hernandez, 83, of Odessa, TX, passed away Wednesday, February 14th, 2007, at Seabury Nursing Home. He was born August 27th, 1923, in Big Spring, TX. He married Delfina Vasquez March 9th, 1946, in Pecos, TX. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is preceded in death by his mother Petra Hernandez, brother Manuel Hernandez, sister Mary Hernandez, and nephew Danny Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife Delfina of Odessa, TX, 3 sons, Adolfo and wife Juanita, Armando and wife Lourdes of Odessa, TX, and Alfredo Jr. and wife Tencha of Pinedale, CA, brothers, Chuey Hernandez of Pecos, TX, Sam and Ben Hernandez, both of Odessa, TX, sisters, Jessie Hernandez, Margie Sandoval and Rosa Fabela, all of Odessa, TX, grandchildren, Adolfo Jr., Armando JR, Fernando and Raquel, all of Odessa, TX, Rose Mary Hernandez of Austin, TX, Chris, Jacob and Melissa, all of Pinedale, CA, great-grandchildren, Jamie Rodriguez of Austin, TX, Yvette and Clarissa, both of Odessa, TX, Nick, Miles, Jordan, Analeia and Soda pop, all of Pinedale, CA, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Viewing will be Friday, February 16th at 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 17th, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Services are entrusted to Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.

Adam Latham
Odessa - Adam Latham, 20, of Odessa, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 13, 2007.
He was born July 10, 1986, in Odessa to Jim and Sandy Latham. He married Amanda Curnutt, March 13, 2006, in Odessa.
Adam attended Odessa College and worked for Latham Printing and Pizza Hut. Adam was a Christian and is with the Lord. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother and grandson. We will miss his tender heart and beautiful smile. He loved helping people and was always there when you needed him.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda and son, Jayden Scott, parents, Jim and Sandy, grandparent, W.K. Dean, brother, Jim and wife Victoria, all of Odessa. One nephew, Jim, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2007, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 17, 2007, Second Baptist Church, 711 E. 17th, Odessa, Randy Duckett officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family request memorials be made in the name of Adam Latham at Permian Basin Credit Union, 2103 N. Grandview, Odessa, TX 79761.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
