SCANNED TEXT:
WILLIAM DENNIS O'GRADY "Butch" Sodality (1-2-3-4); C. S. M. C. (1-2-3); Varsity Football (3 4); French Club (4); Interclass Basketball (2); Latin Club (3); Dramatics (3). Better known to one of his teachers as "Henry," and to his classmates as "Bill," William shows great promise as a stage hand. Moving scenery seems to be his hobby. "Be- hind the scenes," that is after school, Bill is as active and witty as anyone could be, but in school, he attends strictly to his work and usually comes out on top of the list. Keep up the good work, Bill, and don't forget to send us free passes to your first show. HANNAH ESTHER O'LEARY "Skippy" Sodality (1-2-3-4); C. S. M. C. (1-2-3); Library Club' (3); Debating Club (3-4); Dramatics (2-3); Latin Club (3); French Club (3); Senior Ball Committee (4), Decorations-Programs. "Skippy" presents a true picture of modern youth intensely active, and vibrantly interested in what life has to offer. Hannah has her serious moments too, for she can be indepen- dent in her ideas and decidedly ambitious in her undertakings. One may be totally una- ware of her presence, but once she is dis- covered, her spontaneous laughter and vitality add much to any activity. On meeting Hannah, one never fails to note her piquancy, charm and the intriguing dimple on her chin. Good luck to you, "Skippy." CATHERINE MARY RICKERT "Catherine" Sociality (1 2-3-4), Prefect (4); C. S. M. C. (1-2-3); Dramatics (2); Library Club (2-3); Passion Play Choir (3); Latin Club (3), Vice- President; Debating Club (3-4), Secretary (3); Manager of Girls' Basketball Team (4); French Club (4), Vice-President; Class prophet (4). "Cath," witty, loyal, talented, intelligent and poetic, likes everyone and, in return, is universally liked. She has been a leader in her classes, a staunch advocate of school spirit, and a cooperator "par excellence." Catherine's main hobbies are singing and song writing. We'll miss your voice in the Glee Club, your "spur of the moment" puns and verses and your good word for everyone, "Cath." May you climb high on the ladder of success. 25
